Grigri 2 with beeline

Anybody know if a grigri 2 will work with 8mm beeline?? Its operating range is 8.9mm- 11mm. Anybody tried it, thinking about a new lanyard system and just happen to have 25' of beeline.......

Anybody got a grigri I could try??

It might work, but 8 mil is pretty small for a Grigri. You might not like the action when pulling in the slack or even letting it out... Being it's just for a flip it would probably hold until the cam starts to wear or if you put extreme back pressure it may tend to creep.

I wouldnt use a 8mm line with a grigri. I thnk that the low end of the grgri2's tolerance might be pushing it. And going to thin will give you slippage. The Cinch only goes to 8.9 as well I believe.

I never liked my Grillion lanyard for tree work. As a supplental lanyard i think its awesome, you can use it as a small SRT system which works great. Dee > dee I found it lacking though. For tree work this is on the towers its the cats meow. IMHO
