We ordered it on Tuesday and got it yesterday. It is a pretty sweet tool. If the wind allows us, we will be doing a silver maple removal today. The removal doesnt really need the GRCS but we will be using it anyway. I cant wait!

... I've used mine on over a dozen removal or trim jobs ....I still feel like I'm learning to get the most out of it ... taking some big pieces and adding a second line controlled by the climber ... awesome

Well, we didnt really get to use it, but we got a chance to set it up and see how it looks on a tree. 1028100836a.jpg 1028100836b.jpg 1028100840a.jpg
I like how shiny it is in this last picture. I am sure it wont stay that way long.

... I believe it's Ten to One figured on a load to destruction test.... I spoke with Gregg about the test and rating when I first started wanting one ....

The GRCS is a fantastic tool & once you get a feel as to just what it can do... you'll soon wonder why you never bought one earlier!!!

True you will not need it on every job but on the ones you do, you'll be glad you have you have yours.

For a simple tool, its invaluable on the job site and I can't say enough about my GRCS!

The "Drop Test Video" It's still out there in cyber space somewhere. Frans Smith was the mastermind behind it. It was a cool gig to be involved in.

Both the GRCS and the Hobb's devices proved their mettle in that match. No holds barred.
