I can't.
Carl after I talked to you at the expo about the bmg's for skid steers I talked to the boss. He shows me the receipt from a new grapple bucket he bought while I was away. We have a company meeting coming up in January. Could you email me specs on that grapple plus these giant compact loaders( with vids) please. I have the mechanic on board as he is also our "safety officer". Meaning, if a piece of equipment can keep from injury, he will push for it. He presented something that got our local VFD some very expensive things to prevent back injuries to WC and thinks we can do it at work as well. Treebilly78@gmail.com
Absolutely, although the videos won't be around as the machines won't be here until Februaryish, although I can send some Avant videos if that would help.
All I've seen is what's been on here Carl. Specs will be fine. I know it will be tough to break him away from Bobcat ( even though the compact size they can't Compete with), and I can't really blame him. We've got a 773/185 hybrid with almost 7000 hours in it and two s250's with almost 5000 and still going strong. I'm hoping to steer him toward a more low-impact crew and I think this could fill a niche.
Here you go, Rich! The brands I have access to/sell are Gehl, Avant, and of course Giant (this thread). Avant doesn't offer much now with Giant in the mix. Giant has machines bigger and smaller than the Gehl lineup, but the Gehl machines are roughly cheaper.
1: Articulating Loaders are Super Easy on Grass Compared to Full Size or Mini Skid Steers, tracked or wheeled.

2: Mini Articulating Loaders Drive Faster and Lift Higher than any Mini skid (Giants drive faster and lift higher than Avants).

Note using the telescoping boom to get out of/over the soft areas with the turf tires as well as increasing reach to grab material. 11 minutes starts the ~200 yard drag to the chipper.

3: The Mini Articulating Loaders (BME Giants and the 2 smaller Avants) are Small Enough to Fit Sideways on a Truck/Trailer.
4: Articulating Loaders and the Branch Manager Grapple Make a Perfect Combo for Feeding Chippers.

Not the best terrain (super soft ground) and the Avant is harder to steer backing up as you sit on the front section.

Specs. The width isn't correct (new tire option to get through a 36" gate) and they will have a mini skid universal plate, but this shows the gist.
I would ignore the rated capacity and refer to the charts and their respective positions.
Lifting capacity could be hydraulically limited or stability limited and who knows what position the boom is in or how far out the load is from tech attachment plate.
Looking forward to that Carl. I do have a question about the attachment plate. Could it be made same as the dingo, or is it different. I really want a grapple and mulch bucket to come with the macine.
Hi Carl, http://www.eurotrac.fr/tracteurs-accessoires/valets-de-ferme/eurotrac-w11/
I keep looking at this machine, I believe it's a Giant, marketed in France as Eurotrac. Good price, right weight for my trailer.
I want to put a Branch Manager on, does anyone do that over there on the equivalent Giant? Any photos/stories?
Cheers.
Mick
Our Giants use mini skid universal or skid steer universal attachments. That machine looks like it has the euro mount, we should be able to make one of those although the grapple isn't CE rated.
Ok thanks Carl, I've spoken to them and they're the other side of France, no franchises nearby so I'll have to find a reason to go and look sooner or later.
