I found it rather enlightening.
I mean, in the end, when you lay your head on the pillow or when you wake up at 3am you think about your failures, missed opportunities, big errors you made in your personal or professional life.
Other people look at your life and (maybe) just see achievement and good fortune.
But you know, in your head, you could/should have done better.
Maybe that quote just chimed with me, Orwell wasn’t noted for his lightheartedness after all.
