When I ran a bucket crew for pruning we would clean with an air hose the air filter on our Bandit 1590 probably twice a week. If we were chipping stuff that was super dry and crispy then sometimes every day.

I think the crane crew with the Bandit 1890 would clean it every day and sometimes with the backpack blower half way through the day if they were doing a lot of crispy stuff.

I need the firecracker one for my chipper, right now I shoot a BR800 into the middle to push the crap out, then knock out
takes half an hour to knock all the dust out, its horrible

You need to make something that blows air through it in reverse while vibrating it. The firecracker may have been so effective because of the high speed shock wave. Flowers work in a similar way when a bee lands on them, if it is buzzing its wings, loads of pollen shoots out of the flower. The vibration of the flower moves faster than the pollen can change direction with it. It might work to blast a loud speaker through the air filter at full volume and do a frequency sweep.
