Check out Dyneema bungee from sgt knots supply. I just ordered some, my 'necklace' with just normal hardware store bungee is losing its mojo fast.

Yeah having a similar problem. I used some accessory bungee i got from REI ( an outdoor retail store) and it stretches far too much and doesn't pull my system up quite as soon/fast/far as I would like it to
