Ah, way too young to go. The Bolstad's have been champs for some time. Sorry to hear this. Makes me think about my own mortality and how lucky I am to have live a long life.

I loved watching Dave compete in the Lumberjack shows. The man was a master axeman and even though I never met him, I feel a loss, especially for his family.

Yeah, it sounds like it was a heart attack. Dave was still in 40's and should have had many, many more years to live.

Jer, you're still young in my book and I know that you'll be with us for a long time still.

Dave was the toughest-strongest of the tough. His passing will be a major blow to the timbersport industry for a long time.
