Breakaway option for iffy trees

I clipped in to a cheapy keychain biner the other day...got a pack of 10 for $5, they don't have any pin or keyway, just a smooth slot so it should pull out, straighten or break. Be interesting to see how much it takes to break...might test one soon.
Interesting about the zip tie slipping rather than breaking, thanks.

I broke one with a cheapo ratchet strap. Doesn't take much, but should hold ya fine until enough pressure is put on it, like a big ass branch trying to drag you down.

You can also use a section of throw line. Like the good 400 lb test stuff.
