Big wedges can be used between the trunk and chain to really tighten the chain. This is helpful with small trees that don't have the girth for a binder to lay well.

You can hear it! You can feel it in the ground you stand on! And you can see it in the dander shaken from the tree... a mighty "pop"... and movement begins.
