I think it had been holding around 600. Butch would check every name what came up on the birthday notice at the bottom of the main page. If it was somebody who had been here a year with no posts, it was deleted. I guess he decided to manually go through the entire memberlist today and do some housecleaning.

The few threads I've read at Ekka's Tree World were destructive towards anybody that spoke a different point of view.

It would be most difficult to impossible to build any kind of open minded membership in any forum that way.
