Yeh a hi hat! Basic. I recorded the kit one time, need to do it more but with al the sounds and samples I have it’s sometimes too time consuming.. need to get around that!

Why the quiet cymbals, just to not PO the neighbourhood?

Yes - I can play them at 10 pm and not bother a soul. That's what those black heads on the drums are - they reduce the volume. When I want to get loud I just take them off and replace the quiet cymbals with regular ones. I mostly keep them in the muted set-up.

Recorded through an I-Rig into my Samsung S5. Auxillary cable from my desktop speaker headphone jack to the input of the Yamaha drum brain. Hope someone gets a kick out of it.

Probably close to 10 years ago. I barely touch the acoustic kit these days. Too loud for innocent bystanders.

Hey, don't lol! You can even add a nice backrest! If you like to sit in comfort and leave a tight footprint - this is it. Plus, it bounces as you move - like a trucker's chair.
