The drummer for the Roots has one and I was all like WTF is that? It looked like a tom-tom attached to the front/passive head of his kick drum.

It can go in front of a bass amp, too.

Get to go to Louisiana this weekend to pick and spend time with Little Roy and Lizzie for a couple days. Super banjo picker. Been there several years in a row. His middle sister just passed away so wasn't sure if he was coming in.
