I got replaced with another player on NYE...I was told 2 days before...been on the calendar two months...ah well.

Going to an open mic tonight I think (not confirmed yet). Supposed to play guitar, mando, & fiddle with one guy and meet another there.

What's up with the musician's world, Dave? It seems like now and then you are posting things that seem to tell of inconsideration and who gives a damn about the other guy from people that you associate with. Is that a common characteristic of people that play music?

I look at it more as it is the person rather than musicians Jay. No different than having more or less trustable tree guys to work with. It gets me down a bit on one level (when something that was booked gets cancelled and I get a story instead of the up front truth), but I really don't hold it against someone for picking who they want to play with and it not being me.

Played at a strange little open mic tonight. lots of poets, spoken word, & such and just a few musicians. Felt like being back in the 60's , but it was pretty cool. Robbie and I did 4 original songs and went over fairly well. It was fun just to get out for a bit.
