I snapped a few pictures when I was out clearing roads and felling hazard trees this morning. Thought y'all might like to see a couple.

Jeez Burnham, You are a lucky man. I'd love to have your office.

It's not half bad, I cannot argue.

Brent's pic is stunning, but I fear I'm with Brian...I'd move away from there, right now :).

Brrrr...you guys need to check out what I posted at the 'Post a cool website' thread.

I agree, Burnham's last photo is powerful to prehistoric, and Brent's is surreal.

Is that along the Clackamas Burnham? It looks like the place where Jer took many pictures. Sure is gorgeous.

Oh yeah, I recognize that scenery. Beautiful in the winter setting.

That's the Collawash River, which is a main tributary to the Clackamas. You might well have driven up it when y'all were up here for the Flipfest getogether. It comes in from the west into the Clackamas about 10 miles upriver from the campground where we stayed and near where we climbed.

I think both landscapes are great. I'm from the Midwest, but I'm a West Coast guy now, living back in the Midwest. But I do have a fondness for the prairies as well. Basically, I'd love to live in either spot, as right now I'm in the suburbs of Detroit with neighbors all around. It's a nice area, but not the open area that suits me. I keep telling myself it's only temporary, and I'm here for the muskies!

Thanks for the pics guys.

Living there would be just about as accomodating to my personal comfort as the dark void of space :D.

Still a very cool picture, without a doubt.
