I wore it every day last summer. I didn't notice any issues with heat. It does have a sliding vent on the top. I think when it's really hot, you are just going to be miserable all over anyway.
That brand gets good reviews. Mine is rated a bit less, 7-800 amps, and it is impressive. It would not start a Freightliner today, but I was not surprised. I did have to try it.
We have one guy who, according to the boss, is "allowed to run a rake, or a blower with supervision ". The same day he said that one of the guys took his blower away, and have him a rake, and he had not heard those instructions yet.:lol:

We have a 3060L-1, a newer version of that one. We can roll full counterweights in Massachusetts without a travel plan. In CT and NY we have to have an approved route, and in CT we have to remove some counterweight.
Stopped in at one of our jobs to move logs with the mini skid and found a scrench in the grass. Have to see which crew was there. I think one of my crew leaders stole my chap scrench this week, and he's in the Bahamas all next week. Might have to put it on a leash when it comes back.
