Because they are not arborists. I identify the limbs that should have it then I recommend it. If they don't want it, that's up to them, but if I just waited for people to ask, I'd rarely sell one.

We typically do $300/cable. $500 on a 3-legged install. More if there are extenuating circumstances. (Gotta climb more trees to do the cable, if the span is super long, or things like that)

I keep 3/16", 1/4" and 3/8" on hand...as well and dynamic cable.
The finishing caps are for next time I have to climb the tree...those end of the wire are sharp!

Total for the price of the hat and the embroidery of the front and back logo was only about $25-30 per hat. I was really happy with the price. I love the fit of Flex-Fit hats and would buy one every six months or so...usually from a golf store withs some logo I didn't even care or know about...

...except you cant clip the rope on at midpoint...you have to run it through. I could get used to that, though.
Not too shabby looking! Those nipples are called back splices. I like mine a little longer than what you have shown there, but I think that is a personal preference thing.
