Nice job. I love old iron, I took a moped ride the other day and drove by two for sale....I had to concentrate on driving by becuase I easily could get sucked into buying one.

This was built for the same reason, just cuz we can.
350 HP in a 70 HP tractor.
The Twin AV sports 2 throttles,clutchs,trannies,PTO's,1 starter, steering wheel and seat for a thinking driver.
IH may have made a few experimentals but the other very few were put together by tinkerers.
It's primary function is what you see in these posts at various tractor shows.
Inspiring the same ?'s
The 2404 thats also in the pic is very rare as well perhaps 100 in existance

I've got a single AV. Ever hear of Harry Lee? He's got a triple 20 and I think a triple 30. Among other multiple tractor contraptions.

Would really enjoy seeing that AV,thanks;M

I like the doodlebug (toro) we had one on the farms moons ago.

When I was a kid there was a bunch of similar rigs around. They would also take a 1-ton and cut it as short as possible and pull a pallet trailer through the orchard to pick fruit on. They would then pull the trailer to the grading station with the same piece of equipment. Then in the late 60's they changed from picking in 50 lb. lug boxes to picking into 800 lb. bins and everything was done by forklift and truck.
