I thought that it was such a good book that I felt compelled to write Jerry a letter, to which I received a very kindly reply and a cd. That was before he honored us with his presence here.

In the summer of 2000 one of Gerry's close friends Dwayne Neustaeter president of Arboriculture Training Canada taught me proper climbing techniques in the first of many courses I have taken through Dwayne.
Gerry's name was brought up many times during these seminars.

It's a shame that the book can't be published in non English speaking countries, where the market isn't large enough to justify the cost of publishing in a different language. I know that it would be very well received here by about the twenty guys who are into it.

There's your niche Jay! Teaching a climbing/rigging course using Jerry's book as the fundamentals and you get the big bucks for interpreting!8)

Nice thought, but better to have Jerry come over himself. I know one island down south that has some ancient Cryptomeria that he would probably enjoy seeing.

You still make the coin on the translation! Keep up here Jay, I'm tryin' to make ya some money!
