I see more and more of the japan imports here too, I think its a 15 year thing, when they reach that age they can be imported/exported to new markets with very limited restriction. lots of little rice rockets and teensy vans / pickups here. the odd landcruiser and other toyota pickup. Easy to see with the right hand drive as mentioned.
There are also euro imports available in the same scheme, wasnt Rborist talking about that just before his departure?

Might be more restrictions in the U.S. 'cause I haven't seem very many right hand drive vehicles here other than the postal service.

I would like a right hand drive as I am left handed. Hard to write in a normal car using the center console
