I changed the oil today. Fixed. Done. Not a single drip. I ran the machine up to operating temp and chipped with it each time 5 hours apart. Not a single drop came out.....

Am I ever......... I just upgraded the chip truck and bought this chipper and Im tapped for cash. Thats what had me rattled. having an engine rebuilt is as simple as dropping the machine off at a diesel shop. Settling up on the bill however is where things get tricky for me. Im busy right now, but Ive only got one guy with e and he is inexperienced at this point. So, we are working at a nice pace and getting jobs done, but Im not racing to the bank with checks hanging out of every pocket each day.

I too have a 1250 that i bought w/ 1200 or so hours. that was 4 yrs ago and it now has close to 3800 hrs. I was reading your oil drip problems wondering wth? mines never dripped any oil. Mine does drip deisel but it has aleak on something Ive never gotten around to fixing. the leak isnt bad and the dust collects and slows it down.

Ive run morbarks in the past and my next chipper will likely be one. This one works for now so im at peace w/ it. It beats a chucker any day.
