I hear it is a semi legitimate practice in rare cases staying attached to the crane, if you fear taking the pick could cause a questionable tree to break. That tree doesn't appear rotten, plus they have the bucket. Why mess around?

I can't wrap my head around any real advantage to it? Kinda makes my eye twitch to see it. I spend ally time it seems looking to minimize risks.
