More than likely by saving it to his computer, flipping it with whatever photo editing software he uses, save and repost.

Many times a photo shot upside down will display correctly in a photo editor, but unless you save it right side up before posting, it will display upside down on the net.

Yep, easypeasy. Any photo editing software has the ability to flip photos. Ninja skills for more difficult tasks.

Took my family for a picnic at an arboretum that I service. Sat under this tree and took a selfie. Thought that the lighting in the picture was interesting considering that the tree is a Dawn Redwood.
