I don’t remember seeing them on Euc before, at least not that significantly, and wonder if they are enough to affect the structural integrity of the tree
 
Floppable? Or rigged apart? Dump sites near by? Chipped? Brush haul? What kind of iron is available? Stumps ground?
8-10,000 not knowing any logistics.
Flop. Close to my shop so 8k Telehandlers and 16,000lb forklift. Big dump trailer. Haul dry and burn brush. Mill and or firewood trunks. I would match the local disposal rates of $75/ton I think.

No grinding.

How close are other capable competitors?
I don’t think anyone around here has the eqpt or desire to touch a 5’ log. If they do, the customer won’t go for their price.

The big back yard spar I posted about a while back…someone quoted her $22k.
 
Doug- firs dying in a root disease pocket. Tipped 6 by hand or wedged, pulled one that had backlean, climbed one.

No cleanup. For a friend.

Small snags had crazy tight growth rings, up to possibly 20 ribs per inch in the tightest growth.

He's retired and will make some lumber out of it.


The 16' butt log is 12" on the small end. He'll find some good lumber between big and small logs for his hobby projects. He will fashion a homemade chainsaw mill and has a 14" throat vertical bandsaw in his wood shop.






Then, I looked at his daughter's place in town. More 'put on ground only' hazard tree work... snaggy alders.
I'll rent a 67' Haulotte lift and need to climb a tall live one.

So the likely prognosis on the big Euc is canker. Kill it quick. Have to talk to the guy asking for it to be cut
