Up in northern Idaho near a little place called Clearwater, it's a couple hours from Lewiston.

I did on the elk river crew over 10 years ago but I work for the forest service now.

Cool. I have worked with some FS guys, always neat to get around different people. We were engine slugs and the were death march types.

What kinda crew are you on? Type 2 IA, or are you on a shot crew or something?

What's up fellas, just joined this forum yesterday. From Hawaii, working for asplundh clearing utility power lines. Been hired as a groundsman, and slowly learning how to do some climbing work . Looking forward to all of your advice. I been on arbor site forum and had a few replies to my questions. With thousands of members there, I'd expected to have quicker responses, but that forum seems slow. Hoping it's different here!!!

I worked on a 20 man T2IA crew for close to 10 years and now i'm on a T2IA district crew that works more with engines.
