I think she's a little off on the details, but the main gist is right on. To sum it up in a single line, it would be "Line must go up". It isn't enough to be a successful company that makes good products, and makes enough money to pay everyone well. Profits must always increase, and that's an impossibility. They can keep up the illusion for a little while by making everything shitty, but eventually the day of reckoning will come. The C suite doesn't care cause they always get paid. The shareholders are professional gamblers, so who gives a shit about them? It's everyone else that pays the price.
