Being the skeptic I am, I assumed it was phony and he was not driving in reverse but that the car was made to look like it was going backwards when it was really going forwards.

You''d have a different opinion if you had ever rode with my younger brother when he was alive. He use to take a front wheel drive and do all the stuff any of us did with rear drive, and far more, but backwards. He lived for that stuff...crazy little guy, but a real thrill to ride with. Some of his antics he pulled when we were cruising out jon backroads was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that vid.
