The History of night vision goggles totally did it for me.

Been reading about WW1 a lot lately, now I'll never be able to see another photo from the trenches again without looking for a night vision cat.

Political incorrectness is still alive and well here. In a couple of weeks I'm going to my German neighbours cowboys and Indians party. Dress up as one or the other or risk a scalping!

Go as Adolph Schichelgr( Umlaut) ber.

Man, I wish that glitch could be fixed.

I had a problem with a simple copy/paste from a plain old Word document into the forum...all those damn question marks instead of other punctuation I had used. Stupid software.

We don't care much about that particular punctuation mark.

Butch, what will it take to fix this?

If it is a question of money, say so.

It is driving me nuts sometime, me more than others, probably, because I tend to write stuff that uses umlauts and the like more than the rest of the members.

I'll gladly help pay to fix that problem.

IMO it isn't the forum software but possibly browser software which has been updated to adapt to smartphone usage. Stuff that used to work all of a sudden quit working after certain browser updates. I guess they are catering to the lowest common denominator, no longer supporting 'outdated' punctuation. All just assumptions based on personal computer and browser usage, no real proof that I can post.

Both of you might as well have spoken Urdu, for all the sense that made to me.
Internet wise I REALLY am a dumb logger.

Just fix it, please.

Oh man. I was at a Halloween party once with them were a guy showed up as Adolph. Let's just say my German friends were less than impressed. Quite a taboo as I came to understand in their homeland. The irony of them hosting a cowboys and Indians party isn't lost on me. Lol.
