It was just posted as a funny on lemmy. No backstory. If I had to guess, it's a homemade robot that's meant to paint a picture on wall. It scans the surface, then paints a preprogrammed picture that fits the surface.

I had a long, hard day at work. My glasses were filthy so I went to grab my alcohol spray and a wipe. I used the fart spray instead. I thought “what is that smell? What happened to the alcohol? Did it go bad?” Nope!

I’ll keep the fart spray further away from the alcohol.
