I love to joke with the apprentices and suggest they subscribe to my onlyfans (which i don't have but in the conversation that usually comes afterwards explain that we're already selling our bodies for money working like this so who's enjoying their day more?), and i usually try to do it on their first day if i can. I'll set it up by talking about how hiring and layoffs work, what certs they should get and where they should try to work to get the most experience, and tricks for running the road when they're ready. I'll often recommend a side gig when the times are leaner, and so by that point they're usually all but taking notes. Then I'll add "and remember if all else fails there's always onlyfans .... btw my subscription price is only $20 a month, and i would greatly appreciate their patronage and it's a really good deal, it's completely normal to enjoy your coworkers onlyfans page, everyone will think you're a good team player and will definitely think it's super cool and not wierd..." and then I'll usually keep it going by trying to sell them on private videos and anything else i can think of depending on how horrified they look :lol:


Today neither one of the cubs knew what a sybian was (it came up in conversation, probably because something was shaking lol, welcome to construction) so then we had to explain howard stern to them because despite having internet access their entire lives kids these days seem to have lived under a rock. And have barely seen an analog clock. At least once a day I'll have to use the "if you remember we're trying to install this pipe, so it would be great if you screwed it in now, you know, like the mythical clock related to the sundial, righty tighty..." Today before the monster caffine bump kicked in i was accidently going the wrong way on a screwed union in a tight spot we both were jammed in, and had to ask him how long he was gonna let me struggle bus going the wrong way or did he not have a clue either 🤣🤣🤣
