stump grinders: which is better? remote control or old school?

I've stalled the vermeer exactly twice in a thousand hours.

Auto swing is no factor re wear and tear with a good op at the helm.

Vermeer and Rayco are both good, and dependable. Ive got one of each. Your vids show rayco can take regular abuse

ya.. well mine makes a lot more $ than yours.. trust me..

Before it nears the point of stalling, I bump the wheel up a bit if I had it too deep in the stump, it's faster than stopping to let it spool up, just lift some while continuing the sweep.
