SRT anchoring question

Basal anchor..... I wanted something easy to see so I had treestuff put a tight eye splice on 12ft of 12mm sirus rigging line......think I will order 200ft for actual rigging as well, like this rope

To keep ground person from cutting your line I like to put basal anchor above my head, out of reach of saws, less chance of Fail

Graeme McMahon's SRT Base Anchor system certainly seems to be the simplest SRT Base Anchor system EVER. It requires no hardware, allows rescue and the simple addition of extra rope.

I couldn't agree more. Quick, simple, elegant. I use it every day.

O.k.... sorry... Inbred guy here, just jumping in here, but, uhhh.... what's exactly wrong with a running bowline, again? Cause, uh... just seems like it would save a whole bunch of time and hassle--not to mention money.
