I hadn't known of that auto editing for over and under exposed. One thing about the above image that seems to me, it looks a bit strange because the depths are diffused or something. A result of being auto manipulated?
Not sure what you mean by diffused, Dennis. Here's an unmanipulated image, with no in camera HDR work, or post processing. Both were shot at 1/6 second to blur the falls' movement. The other image may have shot in the HDR "Vivid" setting, and/or was processed to bring out the colors and clarity. I like it better, though it is a bit overdone.
By diffused, I meant that the sense of distance between closer and farther seemed somewhat lost or unnatural. Perhaps it is only because the foreground has more exposure.
