Here's a compilation of video shots I took at Sequoia National Park.

Enjoy!

Awesome, Jerry, you appear to be among friends.
Thanks for posting the vid.

The areas around the trees are so clean, free of debris and brush, almost sterile looking. Is that due to maintenance?

They do a lot of control burning, Jay. So most of the fuel around the trees is gone. 7000 feet makes for a pretty dry environment and brush just doesn't grow that well under the trees too. Basically pretty clear and easy to walk through the woods.

Your in the woods videos are attractive on so many different levels. There is the man in his powerful natural environment, similar to the way the ancient Chinese paintings show the spiritual connection, the sense of your own personal relationship with trees after such long experience, the wonder of it , and this little guy scampering around among giants, almost like a Super Mario game. Great work you're doing there.

Great video, Jerry.
I send it to the two guys I will be travelling to Sequoia with,
that will simply blow their minds.
It is hard to get a feeling for the true size of those trees from pictures, your video brings it across real well.

Wow! Thanks for putting that up! Before I die I WILL get to see them. It's the #2 on my travel wish list.

Oh, I wish I could set a line in any one of the trees and venture to their tops. Well, when I was younger anyway.

The fact remains today that if you were the least discreet you could climb anyone of these trees without the chance of being arrested.

It be true.

Just a matter of being discreet. that's all.

wear your saddle under your britches, cut the pockets and unzip the fly to get to your hardware:O

Can I share my sequoia vid?
