Damn pricey, about £300 last time I looked.
I have ! of these

Tad harder to fly (to say the least) but it's a good way to learn the basics and move up.

That is long enough to fly to the top of a tree and see what's living in the big knot hole before you go up.

You might want to try a chopper SIM before you spend hundreds of lbs/dollars. They can be a bugger to control, even w/o breeze and objects in the way!

Yep that's the one .I had thought it was a B-17 but it turned out to be a 29 .

Lewis Brander had the praticulars on the bomber and it used Mac engines which are quite evident on the start up .They have sound all of their own .

That film clip shows not only some amazing engineering skills but flying skills that are totally awesome .

I don't think its a drone, but a copy of the Bell X1.
That was launched from a B29, so that would fit.

I looked up the specs for a B29 .It was 74000 lbs empty and had 4 ,2200 HP engines .About 1 HP per 8-9 pounds .

That scale model with 4 Macs at 6-7 HP per and most likely 100-120 pounds certainly has a leg up on power as related to the real bomber .

You could. Just reinforce it (rebuild it out of carbon fiber and aluminum), widen and extend the pilot area by a few inches, and put a 50hp engine on it, and it probably would fly a person. Consider I think the Wright flyer had only 8HP and a 150lb engine if I remember correctly. And consider these successes:
