I finally discovered how easy it was to drop a phone line on a house.

I'm looking for the "Special" tools. He had an allen wrench with a hollowed out center to get into the box.

And a double ended socket for the two different sized ports inside.

Any ideas where to buy?

It's a "tamper resistant "socket head .They also make tamper proof in torx drive .You can probabley find a set at most discount auto parts stores for that matter .

Meh... the whole set is cheap enough, and you can use them on regular hex.

Glad I could help.

I used to work for a utility company and a ped wrench was a tool that we all had. It is the one with two ends for getting into the phone pedestals. I still have mine and haven't used it in almost 15 years. If you want it, it's yours. Just let me know if you are interested and I can mail it out.

I appreciate that offer! I have to place an order with mcmastercarr anyways, and it's only a $12 tool. Thanks though.
