Normally $85 I have always wanted one of these bad boys, got into a fight with the old lady and bought myself a new climb line with 2 eyesplices and this little guy!! Whos the boss now?!?!

Anyway.......a million and one uses, im not sure it is so applicable to everyday treework but fits into my bag of toys well for playing around with tyroleans, ziplines, srt (wanted to try that rope rocket thing), soloing, hauling, rock climbing, and anything else i can think of. I cant ait to get home!!

I heart treestuff!!!!!!!

The best use I ever came up with for my mini traxion was to capture progress on a 3 to 1 Z rig. It works fine as long as you keep it on the final leg.

Handy as a progress capture on any hauling job. I liked mine for the occasional times the 066 needed to come aloft.

They are also handy in aerial rescue, ie, getting a climber up and off their existing line and onto you without jarring them. The setup we used in tower training used one (well it was a pro traxion) but all the same and im pretty familiar with a lot of improvised uses.

It was a really nice kit but pricey, around $1500 each if i remember. But it could be built for less i believe.

They even have a micro traxion now..
