It would take forever to rip a rick too. Sometimes that first split is the hardest, this might just bust that big round in half for easier handling. But I won't be buying one anytime soon

Unless I'm totally mistaken, the tubular thing has a torque release in it.
Else, why would it be there.

I got plenty of ails, but they sure don't help me when I split wood, quite the opposite in fact.

too slow, might be useful in the bush once and a while but i think you could split way faster with a steel wedge and a good mal
