Mick!

I’m off back to England later this morning, funeral of an old family friend, more out of respect for my BIL (his father) so no consolation needed.
I decided to drive, as every now and then I like the feeling of distance, geography and a sea crossing. Meet some old friends, drink in a couple of my favourite watering holes, Plus I’ll pick up some bits from Honey Brothers while I’m there.
Thought to relieve the boredom I’ll post a bit of a travelogue, that may or may not interest those unfamiliar with this part of the world.
Setting off at around 10.30, once the hired man arrives to continue the construction of the new log shelter.
Back Friday lunchtime.
Too dark for photos now.
