Man I swear the gym is best for a climber and ground men.

Excellent vids Gary.
To add to my last post on the strength standards of raw bench pressing:
No woman in history has bench pressed 400 lbs.
Only 9 women in history broke the 300 lb barrier..
Hepburn benched 500 in 1953 but not until 1967 did an American bench the first 600 lb press.
Shaque O'Neil's greatest bench press was 455 lb
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dave Draper greatest was under 450 lbs.

That's hard to believe Shaq could bench so much, given his long arms.

Is that true Willard about the women?

I was at the Paralympic games in London 2012. Paralympic power lifting for this disability consisted of a bench press. The gold medal winner got the world record. A woman from Nigeria in the 48kg category benched 180kg (397 pounds). I know that is a bit short of 400 but I tell you the crown went mental when she got the lights.

But check out the other results in the Paralympic powerlifting world records. 291kg by one lady. Mind that was the 100kg category.

Varying the wall angle is a great idea...looks like a realistic method.

I had an 8x8 wall in the back yard as the kids grew up...used the same kind of hand holds...got them on clearance from REI. We got some good mileage from that wall.
