I am thinking you could accomplish the same thing with a mickey mouse. Might have to consider the loading issue. That or the hitchclimber .....
Hitch climber might serve better for it than the mickey.
I would also check with Stig on a set up he recently used for the advantage it looks like you are using to advance you climb line. He might have some good input and a pic

I like the rescue ready option this system has with a second rigging rope. To simpilify it you could place the top pulley directly to the rigging line with a carabiner. To connect the eye of the climb line at the top of the system you could tie a slip knot just above the top pulley in the rigging line,clip a carabiner in the loop and clip spliced eye to it. Even simpler would be to Blake hitch the end of climb line to the rigging at the same place. The hitch could be rotated around the back of the riggng line so that it woundn't interfere with the other sections of rope. I'd eliminate the delta I saw you using somewhere else,as I think this only redirects the load rather than isolating it around the branch. Hope this helps.
