It snowed up at Lassen and closed the highway for a couple of days. The parks cleared the road just in time for Terri and I to make a dash and catch the views before it gets snowed in for the season.

As some of you may recall, we were just up there last week, and nary a flake of snow anywhere but on the mountain itself. Now look at what happened just a few days later. Cool...

Wow isn't that something . There's a lot of diverse country in California but then it covers 2/3 of the west coast .
 
I haven't been up there for 27 years. Nice to see it again.

Nope.
Low elevation, remember.
And a long convoluted coastline, so the sea has to cool down first.
Usually we'll get some around late december.
