I carry a scout style knife. Big slotted, small slotted-will work on phillips, awl, can opener, bottle opener, and blade all in a small package. Wenger Standard Issue-I would be lost without it. Carried one since 1975. Used to buy Kabar at Brand Names for about $10. Wore a few of those out. Wenger is $20.

For general shop use I cut off one of those T27 torx drive tools so I could use it in my cordless drill. Makes for much faster assembly and disassembly when working on a saw project.

Something new, I guess.

I have a few of those tools around also. I forget what it came with. I don't remember getting one of those kinds of tools with my 041/076 but it should work to get the plug out those saws. The spark plug on those saws sits in kind of a well so to speak in the rear handle assembly. Today's screnches are too long to fit in that well. Stihl made a shorty version of the present day scrench we use today. I have to keep one of those on my bench when I work on my 76's.

You manage to get a whole bunch of different makes and models of saws you just about need a couple 5 gallon buckets of odd ball tools ..

I've already taken black iron sockets of which I have an unlimited supply of and lathed them down so I could get a plug out .Fixed the saw then misplaced the damned socket .:( Of course I always find them about two weeks after I need them then loose the rascals again .
