It might hurt if the work vehicle looks like a dumpster fire...and I have seen some a few times that made me think to myself "no way would I hire that fellow to do anything at all, if he drives a truck that looks/sounds/drives like it's on its last hour of life".

Stephen obviously is not in that camp .
