Honey Bees

Saw these horny bastards on my lawn and thought I'd share.

We got my daughter's hive bodies assembled Friday. All we lack is assembling the frames/foundations and we'll be done. Then she will paint them and carry three bodies to the bee farm, where they will exchange three frames in each, which will hatch, giving her three infant hives. I don't know much about bees, but they are very intriguing to me.

Lots of stuff to know about bees. I learned most of what I know by reading and learning the hard way. Nicer, or easier at least,
to have someone who knows show/tell.

Helping a beekeeper for a little bit would be ideal, I would think.
