I have a set of those Butch and I really don't use them that much. They're mostly fiberglass. Safer on poles I guess. They're great hanging on the side of a big tree blocking down chunks but as soon as any limb walking is needed they're practically worthless.

Next generation of spikes is literally going to be a pair of boots with spikes coming out the inside ankle and good grips on the bottom for limb walking ha

Like those shoes that kids wear with the wheels in the rear. If they could make them spring loaded like a switchblade so you could fold them in when you don't need them I'd buy a pair. Might be pretty good for self defense too.

Reminds me of that show wild, wild, West, used to watch when I was a kid. Dude had a spring loaded knife in the tip of his boot ha
