I dunno , thos guy is weird.
His main buisness plan is to copy cat me.
He even admitted it.
I dont really care becauser their are a thousand other tree services all lurking around every corner.
i had a plimber tell me today " you must have been doing something right all these years.
the all these years is the hard part to copy.
I worry about this guys to , alittle.
We went atv riding and he flipped his twice. Once he got thrown about 15 feet , could have been bad.
I try and talk him into another line of work but to no avail.
At least hes in colledge, if he does many big removals , shewww bad ,bad idea.

Can't imagine a professional carpet cleaning would have cost more than a $100. Certainly not anywhere close to the deductible. Bet he could have had the carpet professionally replaced for less than his deductible. Whutta tard.

yep......how'd that turn out?
He never paid the signed work order ($375 ish ?) & never contacted me again. I just let it go... the further away from me the better.
A friend suggested I put in to appear on one of the (dozen or so) TV Judge shows, which would be a real hoot but not for the fact that I'd be a nervous wreck. Fuggetaboutit !

Theresa, just mail him another invoice. It can't hurt. Then if no response mail him another invoice in a month or two. Maybe one day he might get a twinge of guilt for ripping off a poor working person and mail you a check. I'm sure his concrete stains are gone by now so he has no basis for his damage claim.

I would have just rented the dang thing myself and done it. Or paid right out of pocket for it. No sense in upping your insurance rate for little bull shat.

I did that with a customer who claimed I ruined her "lawn" (I use that term loosely) by dropping a big dead oak that had 12" limbs falling off of it before she decided to have it removed. I kept sending invoices with finance charges every month. Well, I guess she liked to play games, because after about 6 months, she sent ME an invoice for new sod! :O

You're right, Brian. Gonna do that. I'll send out one, wait a week or two... then when I get no response I should spin off a few dozen copies & send him one EVERY DAY.
