Next thing you know, employers will have to pay for off time for those who get wounded in a bar fight or some such.....

So, after having 3 workers go through some degree of covid, paying them has not been the burden I feared. The tax credit is instant, not like you have pay them and then wait to file for the credit. Happy to report that

Does that mean you don't take out any federal, state taxes or any social security?

Gary, I use a payroll company, like a leasing company to process the payroll. I called them when I saw your question and they are applying for the credit from the government as part of their service to us. How it works, I am not positive. I just see the credit on our invoice.

The conversation with them did bring up the PPP loan and whether we can take this credit after spending the PPP money. So, now I am talking to our accountant.

COVID is getting on my nerves.

It is hard to decipher! I checked with our accountant and we are eligible for the credits given under the FFCRA> Only because we are not using those credits to calculate the PPP loan forgiveness.

Like Charlie Brown's little sister in the Christmas show, I just want my fair share, I just want whats coming to me. Hahaha, how is that for entitlement, lol
