Taking Gertrude to the car wash is just a crappy attempt at a shower. The Storm God washes my rig. I do spray the fender wells out from time to time. I keep the bed tidy, but that's because I sleep in live there.

Living in your truck is kinda cheap, until you factor in the insidious nature of modern cheap food, and the inexplicable inch or so on your waist.
 
Damn bro, gas station food no good. But if you're getting alot of exercise it maybe doesn't matter that much
 
You've mentioned that mix before. My main use of the WD is to lube the axle/bearing that holds the basket to upper boom on my terex bucket truck. The manufacturer should definitely have put a zerk there but they didn't so you have to use spray lube. The basket "ratchets" during self leveling movement, it's very annoying. I tried 10 different lubes and WD seems to work the best but doesn't eliminate the problem entirely. Maybe the 50/50 mix would work!

Could I put that mix into a spray bottle?
Wd40 isn't a lubricant.
 
WD-40 = water displacement formula 40. I believe it was originally made for drying electrical components. It is thin and can creep into tight seized bolts/nuts so that’s why folks think it’s a lubricant but WD40 has very little lubricating properties beyond the first squirt. Spray a ball bearing with WD and coat a ball bearing with motor oil, come back in a week and see which one is still slippery.
 
It's super thin and slippery. It makes me wonder how well it would work for drag races (of any mechanical kind) by applying to anywhere that needs low friction. Actually, someone told me they used it to lube the diff or wheel bearings or something on gokarts or quarter midgets to win races.

Chain/cable lube is the best replacement for WD40 as a lubricant because it starts out thin like WD40, but thickens into a long lasting grease/oil. PJ1 or whatever motorcycle chains use is super thick and sticky.
