Reminds me hauntingly of working in trees over water and instinctive sphincter reaction when 'gators circling underneath as if buzzards overhead waiting for mistake.
Never fell, nor dropped anything, but was overlie distracted constantly as worked; what if drop saw or fell when never did and never worried otherwise. Them gators got in my head and psyched me out when so used to being able to hold hand so still no matter 'how close or long over the fire'.

It sure is/was.
Stunningly beautiful, and hot. 2016 and to this day no stump regrowth, just the odd seedling popping up.
I reckon drone technology would be perfect for zapping seedlings.
The rock face is quite unstable, aeolean limestone, layersbeing popped apart by the roots of the casuarinas, as well as not particularly old so not particularly hard.
