Carlton 7015TRX

Cory, this is the first time I have ever heard a bad work about Carlton. Thanks though.... I totally respect the opinions that I get here.

Carl, sorry for the derail. I'll start a new thread so we don't totally loose the point of this thread.

Carlton seems to be good iron. I love rayco grinders personally. I will say Carlton's disc chippers are no laughing matter. They have infeed power that makes bandit and morbark look like Chinese knockoffs.

I'd have to see that. The 1590 170hp has 3 infeed motors, 2 on top 1 on bottom.

I'm referring to more along the lines of the bandit 250 sized machines. Those Carlton's of comparable size are much more aggressive on the intake then 12 inch bandits and morbarks. It came as quiet the surprise to me as well. The Carlton 6" chippers even have dual feed rollers. I have a Carlton dealer near me and I spec'd out and priced out some chippers awhile back to kill time. I looked at the machines in person and the build quality really looked outstanding where it needs it and lighter weight where it isn't necessary.

My 7015TRX is sold pending funds. Should have the deposit wired to me Monday.

Your grinder quest on this thread doesn't bother me, Eric.
